Numeration with the cooperation of Newquay Orchard and Newquay Health Centre and as part of the Cornish Smartline Project, has been trialing pre-release versions of its Social Prescribing Budget Impact Tool ahead of a wider roll-out next year.
Early indications suggest that significant resources can be liberated for redeployment if Social Prescribing is part of the support given to patients with depression. With enormous pressure on mental health budgets and the challenge of offering co-ordinated support to patients and their families, Numeration believes that the strategic possibilities opened by the utilisation of its Social Prescribing Budget Impact Tool will allow for a more pragmatic and wholistic delivery of appropriate services.
